Warzone 2’s Resurgence map has leaked

December 5, 2022

A Reddit post on Sunday revealed the Resurgence map that will be coming to Warzone 2.0, a leaker confirmed.

The map, which didn’t have a name listed on it, will apparently support 50-player Resurgence, 24 vs. 24 Ground War and DMZ.

The Ghost of Hope, a prominent Call of Duty leaker with a strong track record, confirmed the image.

“It’s real just to be clear but context surrounding it leaking is funny,” Hope tweeted, adding it was funny because the initial Reddit posted said it came from a Call of Duty Facebook group.

Hope said Activision, as of Sunday night, was actively copyright striking the image of the Resurgence map, giving more credibility to it being real.

Hope previously leaked that a Resurgence map wouldn’t be coming to Warzone 2.0 until mid-2023.

It’s unclear if that timeline is still accurate, but Modern Warzone hinted that it may be coming sooner.

“Think you won’t have to wait that long,” the account tweeted Sunday in response to Lucky Chamu.

Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep, the two Resurgence maps in the original Warzone, are no longer available. Players currently have to play the new Al Mazrah Battle Royale map or go back to Caldera.
